The Arab Political Forum (APF) held a Political Skills Development Program, which was held over a period of three days in the city of Marib.

The Political Skills Development Program consisted of several diverse training courses in the political field. These included a course on the principles of political practice, which contributes to consolidating political behavior among students of political science, and a course on political analysis skills—one of the most essential subjects required for understanding contemporary events and developments—along with a number of related courses.

The program was implemented within the framework of the Forum’s efforts to develop the political skills and capacities of members of society and to contribute to enhancing political awareness. It included a variety of courses and skill-building components in the political domain.

Held under the slogan “Developing Political Capacities is a Societal Necessity,” the program focused on targeting youth, including students of political science, emerging researchers in international relations, and individuals with an interest in political affairs.

The Arab Political Forum concluded the training program after achieving its objectives over the three days during which it was held. Mr. Salahuddin Kamel, President of the Forum, stated that the training program comes within the framework of the Forum’s developmental track, through training and qualifying members of society and raising the level of political awareness.

He added that the Political Skills Development Program targeted individuals interested in political affairs, Forum members, and students of the Department of Political Science at the University of Saba Region.

He noted that 30 male and female trainees received, during the program, a substantial body of foundational political skills, and that the program included training workshops. He called on the trainees to further enhance their academic and knowledge capacities and to advance in this important field.
