The Arab Political Forum visits the Executive Unit for IDP Management in Marib Governorate to enhance cooperation ways.

A delegation from the Arab Political Forum, led by Professor Salah al-Din Kamel, Chairman of the Forum, and Professor Youssef Batami, Public Relations Officer, visited the Executive Unit for IDP Camps Management in Marib Governorate. They were received by Dr. Khaled al-Shajani, Assistant Director General of the Unit.

During the meeting, they discussed prospects for joint cooperation between the Forum and the Executive Unit, in the context of the displacement phenomenon to Marib Governorate, and joint efforts to promote sustainable development for the displaced community in the governorate, as part of the partnership path pursued by the Forum.

They discussed cooperation mechanisms to achieve this positive cooperation, by studying the displacement phenomenon, preparing surveys, field reports, and effective communication with donors to inform them of the level of needs and the humanitarian situation of the displaced, providing them with sufficient data and encouraging them to continue providing assistance.

At the end of the meeting, the Chairman of the Political Forum praised the significant roles played by the Executive Unit in Marib Governorate, which has made the governorate a safe environment for displaced people affected by the conflict.
