َ

This was contributed to by the Forum’s researchers and a number of researchers specializing in Arab affairs and experts in international relations.

The panel discussion consisted of five main axes, each addressing a different topic to comprehensively cover the Lebanese situation, studying its past and present reality, and anticipating its future.

The first axis reviewed the situation within Lebanon before the war by examining the functioning mechanism of the Lebanese government and the nature of the involvement of Hezbollah, which is linked to the Iranian regime, in the political process within the government and the authority. Meanwhile, the second axis examined the causes of the war between Hezbollah and Israel.

The third axis focused on the course of the battle and the balance of power between Hezbollah and Israel, while the fourth axis explored opportunities and possibilities for stopping the war on Lebanon. The fifth axis concluded by providing a foresight into Lebanon’s post-war situation, examining the interplay between the government’s authority, the party’s influence, and the equation of their presence.
